Penny Spooner Ceramics

This year I will be opening my doors once again for Open Studio 2011 over two weekends in August. We will be open on Saturday 20th, Sunday 21st, Friday 26th & Saturday 27th August from 10am - 5pm.

I have decided once again to keep the studio as a working space for people to get a better view of a pottery studio in action and will be joined by three other artists who will be displaying their beautiful work along with mine.

They are Damien Rochford who makes wonderful bronze sculptures and paintings; Alice Bloor who produces lovely individual textiles finished to the highest standard; and Adele Zaslawska who makes quirky & unique mosaics. I have added some pictures below showing some sample pieces, obviously there will be much more to see on the day.

All of the artists will be demonstrating their work at different times at the studio, which were thoroughly enjoyed by our visitors last time. It is always lovely for us to meet so many people - some come to see the workspace and demonstrations, whilst others take the opportunity to buy individual presents that can't be found on the high street.  All visitors are very welcome.
